Purple Island, Al Khor is a beautiful and peaceful place for a picnic. I visited on 9 January, and the weather was perfect. The natural scenery, mangroves, and walking paths make it a great spot to relax with friends and family. Very calm …
Beautifully maintained and well accessible to the furthermost point. We were delighted to see the sunsets from there and it is a good place to come with friends and enjoy the day there. Be careful to look for the time when you go there in summer so as to avoid the scorching heat. We visited there in January and the pics are from Jan!
A good place to chill out and have barbecue in the morning and in the late evening . …
The Mangroves are great, loads of fish and crabs can be seen from the walkway, leading down to sand and hills and then the sea. Free parking and facilities. No ticket required, access road is a little rough.
