One of the beautiful place located on the west side of Qatar nearby Dukhan. We can see an old abandoned port and houses. The place is best for picnic and BBQ. Best place to see sunset as well. The water very low and with some stones inside. …
Nice spot for swimming, snorkeling or an escape from the city if not windy. it is a sandy beach with reefs and rocks (wet shoes not mandatory but recommended). Access is done with 4x4 through Qatar Energy gas field and hence due to its proximity no BBQ, fire or camping are authorized. Some RV and caravan were spotted there though.
We like the tranquility of the beach, nice for children and for some snorkeling. We saw some colorful fish and a big crab but don’t expect to be amazing for snorkeling. The sunset is truly beautiful, not to be missed! The beach is well …
